Insurance Billing Specialist:  MCH is accepting applications for a Hospital Insurance Billing specialist to undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks in order to help guarantee the company’s revenues. This person would handle the processing of billing insurance companies – to include timely filing of both primary and secondary insurance claims.  Review aging reports of accounts and following up with insurance(s) to ensure claims are being processed/paid or if more information is needed to complete the process.  Must be able to write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data.  Providing solutions to any relative problems of clients.  Working together with other business office staff as a backup to the reception desk.  This is a benefits eligible position working onsite, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.  To apply, click on the link below.

Director of Public Health Nurse: MCH is accepting application for a Director of Public Health.  This full time benefits eligible position is responsible for providing health care and education to the citizens of Morris and Chase county.  Duties include coordinating local government response to public health planning and in-home health care.  This position performs all the duties of the county health nurse in addition to administrative functions.  Although work is performed according to federal and state guidelines, the employee in this position must exercise considerable independent judgment when carrying out this position’s responsibilities.

Duties to include: skilled nursing care to patients requiring professional nursing service through our health departments and our home health services, Assists families in achieving healthful, safe living for all age groups by giving instructions and guidance in the basic principles relating to accident prevention, communicable disease control, nutrition, child growth and development, and physical and emotional fitness.  Education/License Requirements:  licensed RN in the state of Kansas preferred, minimum licensed PN (LPN) in the state of Kansas with experience in public health care.  For a more detailed job description, please contact Terri LeMay, HR Director at – tlemay@mrcohosp.com
