MCH Recognized as One of Best in National Study

The Morris County Hospital has been recognized as one of the 30 top performing Critical Access Hospitals in the United States in a study performed by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

There are 1,300 Critical Access Hospital in the U.S. of which 84 are located in Kansas.  

The study examined operational data reported to the federal government through the annual Medicare cost report.  Data was compared to a set of national benchmarks, with the Morris County Hospital exceeding all of them.  

The study was done under the auspices of the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy.
