Morris County Hospital is excited to announce the opening of two new outreach clinics on December 18, 2019. Nurse Practitioner Haley Morgan, supervised by Dr. Melanie Byram, will be providing health care to the communities of White City and Alta Vista. Haley Morgan will be able to offer patients primary healthcare services to include physicals, medical evaluations, and treatment of acute illnesses at our newly remodeled clinics.
Patients will be able to remain in their hometown for primary care services making healthcare more accessible and convenient. Appointments are available starting December 18th, 2019 with PA Deborah Benning until Haley Morgan has completed the necessary licensure. Please call the MCH Medical Clinic at 620-767-5126 to make an appointment for pre-opening dates of December 18, 19 or 20 with D. Benning PA and Morgan.
The routine hours of the two clinics starting in January are:
Alta Vista: Monday 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM and Thursday 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM
White City: Monday 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Tuesday 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM and Thursday 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Appointments can be made at this time by calling the MCH Medical Clinic at 620-767-5126. Starting in January appointments can be made directly with the clinics at 785-349-2274, White City or 785-499-5219, Alta Vista.
Haley Morgan will be completing her requirements to obtain her Nurse Practitioner license by the end of January. Morgan lives in rural White City with her husband Mark and son, Bo. Morgan is a graduate of Lawrence High School and received her bachelor’s degree of Nursing from Emporia State University. She recently completed her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Graceland University.
Haley began her career in the ER at Stormont Vail, Topeka also worked in a clinic at Geary Community Hospital, Junction City.
Haley enjoys sports, having been a basketball player for ESU, she loves the farm life and being a wife and mom.
Haley is extremely excited about working with patients at the two local clinics and invites you to call for an appointment for the preopening dates, as well as into January, when the clinics will open full time.
